Noah had his 2 month well-baby check on Tuesday. He is 10lbs, 14oz and 21.75 inches long. He's still little (25% for weight and 10% for height) but he's growing well considering that he was in the 5th percentile at birth.

We registered Michael for kindergarten last week. He's pretty excited about it and it seems like a nice school. The teachers were very nice, too. It will be hard to beat the Montessori Schoolhouse, though. We're so happy that Michael was able to spend 2 years there. I can't say enough good things about it!

Michael, Noah and I are getting excited for our upcoming trip to Green Bay! It will be an interesting experience traveling alone with the boys, but it's worth it. I can't wait to show both of them off to everyone!

7 weeks old

Just in case you're wondering, Michael is waving to cars while stading on the street post in our yard. He's definitely not the shy one in the family.

6 weeks old

Noah will be five weeks tomorrow. He weighs nearly 9lbs already and his preemie clothes are now too small for him. Noah is doing pretty well considering he's had a cold for a couple of weeks now and is developing an ear infection. We went to the pediatrician yesterday and got antibiotics for the infection so hopefully he'll be better soon.

Noah's been smiling in his sleep for a couple of weeks but yesterday he started to smile when awake. He is absolutely adorable!

3 weeks old

Today Noah is 3 weeks old. He's definitely getting bigger - newborn diapers are starting to get snug. Noah is still a very happy baby and is sleeping great.

2 weeks old

Yesterday was Noah's 2-week birthday. We celebrated by going to the pediatrician for a wellness check-up. Noah gained almost a pound so far - he's now at 6lbs, 12oz - which is 2oz more than Michael was when he was born. He also apparently grew 2 1/2 inches.

Happy Valentine's Day

This first picture is kind of hard to see, but it's too cute not to post. Michael drew this picture of Noah (he has no arms because he's swaddled in a blanket) and wrote his name next to it. Noah slept really well last night - up every 4 hours or so. Today my friend Amy is coming over to visit us, and tomorrow we're going to the doctor for Noah's 2-week check up. I'm also planning on stopping by the lab and Michael's school to show off the baby.
