Michael's Thanksgiving Feast

Last Friday Michael's school had their annual "Thanksgiving Feast". Michael was a singer and dressed up as a Pilgrim.

The night before the Thanksgiving Feast Michael and I made deviled eggs. Michael's job was to sprinkle paprika on the eggs.

Sprinking the paprika turned out to be a very tiring job.

When Michael finally got his energy back he transformed into his alter ego, Hanger Man.

Finally!

There has been a lot going on since the last time I posted anything. The two most notable things are that we're expecting another baby who will arrive sometime in February, and that we finally got the dog Jeff and Michael have been wanting. The puppy's name is Maggie and she's 10 weeks old. She is a great dane and will be around 130lbs when she's full grown.

Jeff, Michael and I spent a week in Cape Cod where I was working this summer. Michael even got to be in the 4th of July Parade!

After I got back from Cape Cod Michael and I went to Green Bay for vacation. The highlight of our trip was meeting our new neice Ava, who happes to be the perfect baby! Other fun things we did was go to Shawano Lake and to Bay Beach with Aunt Michelle, Ashley, Katelyn and Kaleb.

We also got to meet Eric and Nicole's baby boy, Aiden. Aiden is a few days older than Ava and is absolutely adorable.

Jeff went to Green Bay, too, but at a later time than us to go to a friend's wedding.

Michael is back in school and is now playing soccer. His team is the Rattlesnakes. A week after school began (and right before school pictures) Michael decided to give himself a haircut. The pictures are below. He likes his new look, but thinks his hair could be just a little shorter, or better yet, bald.

Michael's 4th Birthday Party

We celebrated Michael's 4th birthday on Saturday. We played some games, deocrated party hats and had cake and ice cream. The highlight of the party was when volunteers from the Windcrest Fire Department stopped by. The kids were able to check out the inside of the fire truck and spray water from the hose. Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate Michael's birthday! Michael had a wonderful time and was really happy to see his "Montessori Schoolhouse" friends again.

A San Antonio Wedding

Yesterday we celebrated the wedding of Amy and Ben. I met Amy a couple of months ago at the Windcrest Tennis Club where she works as a pro at the club. Thanks to Amy my game has gotten much better.

Michael had a blast at the reception. During dinner he kept asking me when the dancing would start, and when it did it was next to impossible to get to dance with him. He preferred to dance with either Allie or Victoria than me, but finally I got my dance!!!

The Eagles Team Picnic

Michael's last t-ball game was last Saturday. Following the game the kids got trophies and celebrated with a picnic.

Michael's self-portraits

Every time I download photos from my camera onto our computer I find a few pictures courtesty of Michael. Here are a few of my favorites.
