Grandpa Ken and Grandma Cathy come to visit

Ken and Cathy came to visit us earlier this month. It's been 8 months since we last saw them (that long already!!!??) and it was so great for them to stay with us for a few days. We took a lot of pictures while they were here, and I've posted a few of the best ones.

We spent Friday at the Wild Animal Park. It was super hot that day. After we rode through the park we stopped in the gift shop where Michael alnd Grandpa Ken ate some ice cream.

After the Animal Park we went to the outlet mall in San Marcos. I was on a mission to find a pair of shorts and Michael had gotten some money from Great Grandma and Grandpa Sikorski to spend at the toy store.

Later that evening, Grandma Cathy teaches Michael how to properly curl his hair.

The next morning, we went to mass at the San Jose Mission. The picture below is the corridor just adjacent to the church.

After church we went to the Riverwalk where we had lunch and took a boat tour down the river. It was such a beautiful day.

Here's our new boat. We can't wait to get it out on the lake!
Jeff has been looking for a boat for some time now, and has finally found one we both like. He'll be picking it up tonight, and once we get it home I'll be sure to post some pictures of it. Michael is pretty excited about getting a boat and going fishing with Jeff.

Welcome to our Blog!

Hello and welcome to my blog! 3 skis was developed to enable our friends and famiy in Wisconsin to keep in touch with the three of us (Jeff, Michael and Angie) who now live in the great state of Texas. Just over 7 months ago we moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to San Antonio, Texas. Although we miss home, we really enjoy it here in SA.

Michael had his second t-ball game today. Let me tell you, it is absolutely hilarious to watch a bunch of 3 and 4 year-olds in little uniforms playing t-ball. The coaches have been doing a great job teaching them that there are many positions in baseball, each of which is the responsiblity of only one person. Still, when the ball is hit all the kids race to see who can get to it first. Most of the kids are ok with this rule. Michael, on the other hand, is having some difficulty with it. About half way through the game he decides its more exciting to sit in the bleachers with me than have to wait for the ball to come to him. Check out how cute he is in his uniform.
